| There is an increasing pattern of outsourcing select key support processes in the upstream enterprises. While the thought existed for long, the efficiency and ROI are realized by enabling the outsourcing through right technology infrastructure. Key support activities relating to master data of land records, production assets (well data), production accounting are candidates for managed service models. BPO uptake for support processes is below average and is accepted where capital investments are not committed. |
